Plant sizes, colours, and variations may differ slightly due to their natural nature
Handmade candles may have minor variations in colour, finish, or scent

3. Orders and Payment

Orders are placed through our website and are subject to availability
Prices are displayed in GBP (£) and include VAT where applicable
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order if necessary

Payment must be made in full before dispatch.

4. Delivery

Delivery times are estimates and not guaranteed
We are not responsible for delays caused by courier services
Risk of loss or damage passes to you once the items have been delivered

5. Returns and Refunds

Your legal rights

Under UK law:

You may cancel your order within 14 days of receiving it
You then have a further 14 days to return the item
You are entitled to a full refund for faulty or misdescribed goods

Conditions for returns

To be eligible for a return:

Items must be unused and in original condition
Plants must be returned in a healthy condition (we cannot accept returns for plants damaged due to improper care after delivery)
Candles must be unused and unlit

Non-returnable items

We do not accept returns for:

Perishable goods where deterioration has occurred (e.g. plants suffering due to neglect) [gov.uk ]
Custom or personalised items

Refunds

Refunds are processed within 14 days of receiving the returned item
Standard delivery costs will be refunded where applicable

6. Faulty or Damaged Goods

If your order arrives damaged or faulty:

Contact us within 48 hours of delivery
Provide photographic evidence if possible

We will offer a replacement, repair, or refund in line with your legal rights.

7. Candle Safety Disclaimer

Never leave a burning candle unattended
Keep away from children, pets, and flammable materials
Use candles in accordance with basic fire safety practices

Hestia & Gaia accepts no liability for misuse of products.

8. Plant Care Disclaimer

Plants are living products and require appropriate care.
We are not responsible for:

Changes in plant condition after delivery
Damage caused by incorrect watering, lighting, or environment

Basic care guidance may be provided but is not a guarantee of plant longevity.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:
